Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking a Software Engineer to join a leading health information technology organization. This is a remote, full-time role focused on designing and developing software solutions that improve healthcare outcomes across multiple states.

Responsibilities of the Software Engineer:

Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions that meet business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, QA, and analysts to deliver scalable solutions.
Participate in code reviews and implement coding standards and best practices.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Debug and troubleshoot software issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
Maintain clear technical documentation including code comments and user manuals.
Work with cloud services and implement RBAC mechanisms and configurations.
Contribute to project planning and continuously improve development processes.

Qualifications for the Software Engineer:

1–3 years of software development experience.
2+ years of JavaScript front-end development experience.
1+ years of experience with React and/or Angular.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development libraries.
Familiarity with multiple web APIs and Agile development methodologies.
Experience with cloud computing services (preferably Azure).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Compensation for the Software Engineer::

Salary: $85,00-$98,000
Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, 401K, and paid sick leave (as required by law)
