Job Description

Spiro is hiring a Software Engineer to join our IT team. The Software Engineer works in partnership with the IT Team as well as cross functional teams within Spiro, delivering best-in-class service. The Software Engineer will help design and develop our investment into our Odoo Environment.

Responsibilities

Full Stack Development within Odoo
Design and develop API’s integrating with key applications
Provide technical leadership across the IT Team
Mentor and guide junior developers and business analyst
Project manages deliverables within the IT organization
Drive Innovation

Qualifications

4 years coding experience within the Odoo environment
Leading and mentoring teams
Project management
Work closely with our business to identify areas to improve our ways of working
Python, JavaScript, SQL, C++, Maple, Mathematica
Tool sets include Git, Linux, Docker, Jupyter, VS Code, Odoo
Travel expectations are minimal

How To Measure Success

By 30 days incumbent should understand team dynamics and perform basic job functions to include, knowing our Spiro business, understanding our Odoo environment, and understanding our key applications.
By 60 days incumbent should be self-reliant on basic job functions and begin executing more complex tasks to include full stack development in our Odoo environment.
By 90 days, incumbent should have ownership over the Odoo environment and API integrations.
