About The Role
We are looking for a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for storytelling through visual media and have a strong portfolio demonstrating their editing skills. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, engaging videos that align with client objectives and brand standards. You will work closely with our creative team to conceptualize and execute video projects, ensuring high-quality output within tight deadlines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including promotional videos, social media content, and corporate communications, helping to shape the visual narrative of our clients and our company.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in video editing
Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer
Strong understanding of video production techniques, including lighting, sound, and camera operation
Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and storytelling
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
A portfolio or demo reel showcasing your editing skills is required
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute video concepts that meet client objectives
Edit raw footage into high-quality, engaging videos that are visually appealing
Incorporate music, sound effects, graphics, and visual effects to enhance video production value
Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and meet client expectations
Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and software updates to continuously improve output quality
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth production workflows
Review and revise videos based on feedback and quality standards
