About The Role
We are looking for a skilled developer to join our expanding team at Goldenstate. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing internal web applications tailored for our basketball operations group. Your primary focus will be on creating seamless, efficient, and user-friendly interfaces that enable our data engineers and data scientists to access complex data sets effortlessly. This position offers a unique opportunity to work remotely in a full-time capacity, giving you the flexibility to contribute to impactful projects from anywhere.
As a core member of our team, you will have the opportunity to influence system architecture, develop new features, and enhance data dashboards that support strategic decision-making. Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a strong background in web development, with proficiency in relevant programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React or Angular. Experience with backend technologies, databases, and APIs is also essential. Familiarity with data visualization tools and dashboards, such as Tableau or Power BI, will be advantageous.
Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in developing internal applications or working within a data-driven organization.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain internal web applications that facilitate data access and visualization for basketball operations.
Collaborate closely with data engineers and data scientists to understand data requirements and translate them into functional interfaces.
Improve existing data dashboards and develop new features to enhance usability and data insights.
Participate in architecture discussions, providing technical input to ensure scalable, efficient, and secure applications.
Write clean, maintainable code and conduct thorough testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into development processes.
Support the deployment and ongoing maintenance of applications, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
