About The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Web Developer to join our dynamic team supporting mission-critical federal systems. This full-stack developer role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of modern web applications that prioritize security, performance, and user experience. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including architects, product owners, and stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize scalable solutions using a wide array of technologies such as C#, .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and React. You will be instrumental in troubleshooting complex issues, enhancing application security, and integrating APIs and backend services that support enterprise-level operations. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a strong understanding of secure coding practices, and the ability to thrive in an Agile environment that embraces continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess over five years of professional experience in developing web-based applications, with a solid educational background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Demonstrated expertise in C#, .NET 8+, and ASP.NET Core is essential, along with proficiency in developing modern front-end interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks such as React. Candidates should have a strong understanding of application architecture, API development, and integration, as well as experience working with SQL Server or similar relational database technologies. Familiarity with secure coding practices, vulnerability remediation, and identity management protocols like OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect is required. Candidates should also have experience with source control tools like Git, automated deployment pipelines, and CI/CD processes. Certification in security, such as CompTIA Security+, or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire, is preferred. Additional experience with frameworks like Entity Framework Core, IIS, Windows Server, and federal cybersecurity standards will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable web applications aligned with federal standards. Key responsibilities include building responsive, user-friendly interfaces utilizing JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and related frameworks. You will develop, test, and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services to support enterprise applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability. The role involves designing and optimizing SQL Server databases, data models, and data access layers to ensure high performance and data integrity. Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues across UI, API, database, and hosting layers will be a core part of your duties. You will apply secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle, proactively identifying vulnerabilities and implementing remediation strategies. Additionally, you will implement authentication and authorization solutions using industry-standard identity management technologies, contribute to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines, and participate in code reviews. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders within a SAFe Agile environment is essential, along with leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery without compromising quality, security, or performance.
