2. About the Opportunity:
The Web Developer role is responsible for supporting clients by developing, optimizing, and maintaining websites and email campaigns. This position plays a key role in implementing responsive design, improving user experience, and contributing to digital marketing effectiveness.
3. Responsibilities:
Create website layouts and user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript best practices
Collaborate with designers to translate designs into website elements
Implement responsive web designs across devices and browsers
Apply SEO strategies and analyze web-related data with the content team
Optimize landing pages for digital marketing
Develop responsive emails and templates compatible with various email clients
Create and maintain technical documentation
Troubleshoot, test, and maintain websites for security and functionality
Address technical issues promptly
Support marketing team in integrated communication and marketing activities
Meet or exceed monthly performance targets
Follow management training and direction
Adhere to organizational policies and values
Work collaboratively and professionally with clients
Perform other assigned duties
4. Requirements:
Self-motivated with strong oral and written communication skills
Solid understanding of web development fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Knowledge of responsive design and browser testing tools
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Willingness to learn continuously
Process-oriented approach
Desirable skills (not required):
Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, HubSpot, Drupal, or Webflow
Ability to manage hosting services (WPEngine, GoDaddy, etc.)
Experience with PHP, WordPress webhooks
Familiarity with relational databases (SQL/MySQL)
Understanding of UX/UI principles
Knowledge of email marketing platforms (HubSpot, Pardot, Mailchimp)
Experience with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify)
Proficiency with Adobe Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Experience with project management software
Familiarity with CDN integrations (Cloudflare)
Version control experience (GitHub)
Website optimization skills related to speed, accessibility, and security
