About The Role

The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a talented Web Developer/Designer to join its Marketing/Public Relations department located in Skippack, PA. This multifaceted role combines technical web development expertise with creative visual design skills to enhance the company’s digital presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving websites, ensuring they are engaging, responsive, and aligned with business objectives. Additionally, the role involves developing compelling graphics and visual content for various digital marketing initiatives, including social media, email campaigns, advertisements, and promotional materials. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for design, attention to detail, and the ability to translate marketing goals into attractive, functional digital experiences. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Web Development, Computer Science, Digital Media, or a related field
5-10 years of professional experience in web development and design
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with responsive web design and content management systems such as WordPress or similar platforms
Proficiency with graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Ability to manage multiple projects independently and efficiently
Preferred knowledge of SEO best practices and website analytics tools
Experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-friendly websites that meet business and marketing objectives
Build and update web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant technologies
Manage website content, functionality, and performance to ensure optimal user experience
Optimize websites for desktop, tablet, and mobile device compatibility
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly to minimize downtime
Enhance website speed, usability, accessibility, and SEO performance
Collaborate with internal teams to develop landing pages, online forms, and other digital assets
Integrate third-party tools, plugins, APIs, analytics, and other services to enhance website functionality
Create graphics for websites, social media, email marketing, advertisements, presentations, and promotional materials
Develop visual concepts, layouts, illustrations, and branded marketing materials consistent with company branding guidelines
Edit and optimize images for web and print use
Work closely with marketing and other departments to develop creative campaigns and digital strategies
Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively
Participate in strategic discussions to improve the company’s digital footprint and online presence
