Position: Part-Time Social Media Intern (Remote, Team-Based)
Location: Remote (US-based)
Hours: 8-15 hours per week (flexible, asynchronous work)
Compensation: US$18-25 per hour
Start Date: Immediate
We’re a growing platform for academic competitions, such as the Harvard Crimson Global Quiz Bowl, MIT EWB Science & Engineering Competition etc. aimed at middle and high schoolers. We’re looking for enthusiastic current college students to join our team as remote paid interns to grow our social media presence.
If you have a passion for education, this is a great opportunity to build your portfolio while earning competitive pay. No prior professional experience required—we need self-starters who can figure things out and work in a team!
This role is designed to be manageable alongside your school commitments. It is a big plus if you have a strong personal social media presence (1k+ follower & active posting) and you must be comfortable being on camera.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and schedule engaging content (posts, Reels, Stories) tailored to students interested in academics and competitions.
Grow our audience on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and X using trends and organic strategies.
Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and analyze performance with basic tools (e.g., built-in analytics).
Collaborate with a small team of fellow social media interns to divide tasks and brainstorm ideas.
Incorporate your own small audience or personal branding to add authenticity.
Requirements:
Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
Comfortable being on camera
Excited about creating authentic content and about education

Personal social media following and posts (1k+ follower & active posting)
