Job Description

LocaliQ, a leading digital marketing agency, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Local Sales Intern to join our dynamic sales team in Detroit, MI. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and customer relationship management within a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the Sales Team: Support the sales team in daily activities, including prospecting, lead generation, and client follow-ups.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand market trends.
Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings, presentations, and calls to gain insights into client needs and sales processes.
Sales Support: Help prepare sales materials, proposals, and presentations for potential clients.
Data Management: Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems with accurate and timely information.
Event Participation: Assist in organizing and attending local events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote LocaliQ’s services.
Reporting: Generate and analyze sales reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with CRM software.
Motivation: Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

The hourly rate for this role will range between $15.22 and $18.00.  Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
