Join our dynamic Content and Communications team as a Fall Intern and immerse yourself in the exciting world of public relations, content creation, and strategic communication. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to impactful projects.

This position serves the Air Conditioning Division located in Lewisville, TX from a home-based office near a major US city, per Rheem’s Remote Working Policy.

Responsibilities

Content Creation:
Assist in creating engaging written and visual content for various platforms, including blog posts, social media, newsletters, and press releases.
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop innovative content ideas that align with the organization’s messaging and goals.
Social Media Management:
Contribute to social media planning and execution, ensuring consistent brand messaging across platforms.
Monitor social media channels, engage with the audience, and analyze performance metrics to provide insights for optimization.
Public Relations Support:
Assist in the development of press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
Communication Strategy:
Participate in strategic discussions to contribute fresh perspectives and insights for effective communication strategies.
Collaborate with team members to ensure cohesive messaging across internal and external communication channels.
Supporting event communication strategy and execution.
Research and Analysis:
Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform content and communication strategies.
Analyze data and metrics to measure the impact of content and communication initiatives, providing actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools.
Basic understanding of public relations principles and practices.
Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with design tools, such as InDesign and PhotoShop, is a plus.
