interns and volunteers.
Our team is looking for interns who are innovative, self-motivated, outgoing, and dependable.
This opportunity to work with our organization offers a unique experience for personal and
professional growth. This internship requires strong interpersonal skills, and high sensitivity to
the needs of diverse families and children.
Internships are unpaid and interns are welcome to work anywhere between 10-15 hours a
week. A portion of this position may be done remotely, including planning and post-editing of
videography projects, however, recording video is a hands-on process and will require
face-to-face interactions.
Intern Duties Description
Assist Community Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator with creating social media posts intended for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
Research relevant social media trends to help grow social media presence for Early Learning Essentials
Analyze data, insights, and trends to reach our target audience
Create 5 content pieces per week to be posted on social media platforms by Community Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator
Ability to meet once a week via Google Meet for a 1 hour meeting with the Marketing Team.
Ability to work collaboratively with other social media interns and Early Learning Essential staff members
Create video content
Understanding and knowledge of the early childhood education field and resources available to families in Utah Valley
Complete other various projects as deemed appropriate by the Community Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator
Preference is given to those who apply early.
Internships go from August 4th – December 5th
