Responsibilities Do you want to build great things in a vibrant, smart, high energy team? Are you looking for a role to have a bigger technical impact? We are looking for Software Engineer with strong programming and design skills to join our chaos engineering development team. The ideal candidate will be technically strong and must have an understanding of large-scale distributed systems (cloud-based environments). Qualifications 5+ years experience in a software development environment Development experience in Java, Python, SQL, object oriented programming and scripting languages Knowledge of Cloud Technology and Infrastructure concepts Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to all audiences Comfortably in a collaborative, agile development environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Jira, Confluence, BitBucket Knowledge of Scrum & Agile Methodologies Familiarity and understanding of distributed computing and cloud-based platforms. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,800 – $178,100 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
