That’s where you come in. As our Content Creator & Social Lead, you’ll be the on-camera personality, behind-the-scenes producer, and cultural pulse-keeper of the Flodesk brand. You’ll own our presence on Instagram, TikTok, and Threads, driving growth and engagement through short-form content, trend-savvy storytelling, and product education that resonates. You’ll work closely with our executive team—including our co-founders and Head of Marketing—to shape and share the larger Flodesk story: why email marketing matters, how it’s changing, and why Flodesk is uniquely positioned to serve the next generation of small business owners and creators. This role is perfect for someone who loves making content that feels human, helpful, and high-impact—someone who can jump from ideating a new video series to filming in-app tutorials, and then editing a story recap from an IRL event. What you’ll do: Grow Flodesk’s social presence – Engage users on Instagram, TikTok, and Threads, with a focus on short-form video content, narrative storytelling, and creator-first trends Content creation- Create (and often times star in) compelling, platform-native content that reflects our brand voice and connects with small business owners and digital entrepreneurs Engage directly with our audience- Foster real-time connection and community growth through conversation, comments, and DMs Collaboration- Work closely with Flodesk’s execs and the marketing team to translate brand and product narratives into clear, engaging content that educates, inspires, and converts Partner with product marketing and brand to develop content that supports feature launches, tutorials, and community education Coordinate with our Partners and internal team to manage content co-creation and social-first campaigns with creators and influencers in our community Performance optimization- Track performance and optimize for reach, engagement, and business impact using analytics tools Be in the know- Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, and creator economy shifts to ensure our content is always relevant and resonant What you bring: 3+ years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing with a proven record of growing and engaging audiences Enjoys being on camera and telling stories that feel both natural and compelling Ability to translate big ideas and product concepts into content people actually want to watch and share Has a deep understanding of what works on Instagram, TikTok, and Threads—and how to adapt brand voice accordingly Highly collaborative and energized by working closely with executives, creatives, and cross-functional teams Fluent in the culture of creators, small business owners, and digital entrepreneurs Basic video editing and content production skills (CapCut, Premiere Rush, Canva, etc.) Thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first, startup environment where creativity and autonomy are highly valued A love for travel! This role does require traveling to conferences, off sites, and other in persona events.
