About The Role D-Wave is seeking an intern to join our Marketing team for a full time, 4-month contract from September 2025 to December 2025. Working closely with our marketing team, you will be collaborating on a variety of tasks and projects including corporate storytelling, content development including social, web, email and ad copy, press releases, market and competitive research, customer segmentation and data management. What You’ll Do Draft and edit content for multiple channels including, web, blogs, PR, social, ad copy, product launches, public affairs, etc. Conduct research and analyze industry trends and marketing best practices to support team strategy to identify target customer segments and build prospect lists for lead generation activities Helping to create and execute marketing campaigns to reach our target audiences of C-suite executives and developers Track and report on marketing campaign, content, and channel performance Collaborate with team members and serve as an active participate in team meetings About You If you have a deep passion for storytelling, digital marketing, data, and leading-edge technology, and you are looking forward to working alongside amazing professionals who will help to develop your skills in B2B technology marketing, then this is the job for you! Required Have some marketing and public relations experience and/or marketing, and public relations or communications course work Possess entry-level marketing skills – basic understanding of marketing channels including social media, email marketing, web, advertising, public relations, etc. Knowledge of CRM and Marketing automation tools such as Salesforce and Marketo is a plus Critical, analytical, and creative thinking skills Strong writing and communications skills for both technical and business audiences Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment Passion for quantum computing and other emerging technologies Have good understanding of the basics of business thinking Understand business analytics – curious about data and trends and how those impact marketing success Eagerness to learn and take initiative A D-Waver’s DNA We look at the future and say “why not”; we see possibilities where others see problems or routines.
