What You’ll Be Doing: Responsibilities Collaborate with other engineers to design and develop software solutions. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards. Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software issues. Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements. Work with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions. Maintain and update documentation for the software development process. Test and validate software applications to ensure they meet quality standards. Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to improving processes. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C#, Java, or Python. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Basic understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or mobile app development is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment. Eagerness to learn new technologies and improve coding skills. Internship or project experience in software development. Technical Requirements: We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $65,000 – 70,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
