Freelance Graphic Designer at La Vida Hospitality

Job Description

Summary of Position: La Vida Hospitality is looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer to support our creative and marketing teams with design projects across our portfolio of brands, including Crooked Hammock Brewery, Big Chill, Taco Reho, and La Vida Hospitality. This role is project-based and remote-flexible, with the opportunity to collaborate regularly with our Creative Director, Marketing Directors, and Brand Coordinators. You’ll help maintain brand consistency while bringing creative concepts to life. Must Enjoy the Ride!

Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate with the La Vida Creative Director, Marketing Directors, and Brand Coordinators on a project basis
Design creative assets such as advertisements, social graphics, menus, posters, stickers, retail items, and other branded materials
Assist with digital design needs including website graphics, email layouts, and digital ads
Maintain brand standards across all design touchpoints
Manage tasks via shared project management tools and stay in clear communication on deadlines and deliverables
Contribute creative ideas to support marketing campaigns and initiatives
Be a brand ambassador in your work — ensuring every design reflects the vibe, energy, and standards of our brands

Qualifications

3-8 years of relevant Graphic Design experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field. A combination of education and experience may substitute for a degree
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign, with a willingness to learn new technologies or skills
Self-motivated and capable of taking initiative to find creative solutions
Requires the kind of relentless pursuit of quality that comes with a deep love of our brand and the products that we produce, in order to ensure their continued quality into the future
Professional communication skills both verbal and written
Strong planning and organizational skills. The ability to multitask, prioritize and adapt to changing situations;
Ability to work in a standing or sitting position for long periods of time
Flexibility of schedule to assume responsibilities as needed, ability to balance personal & professional life
Professional appearance, punctual, reliable
Hospitality soul with guest friendly demeanor
Exhibit a sense of urgency and be able to work in very fast paced environment
