The Graphic Designer is responsible for aligning creative solutions with brand identities and executing projects from concept to completion. The incumbent in this role helps guide the design of print advertising, web banners, marketing materials and other creative non-traditional promotions. He/She completes design concept and layout for print and electronic publications including brochures, forms, posters, logos, and web sites. The Graphic Designer is responsible for marketing coordination functions, print requests & communication with vendors.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
Brainstorms and sketches ideas, designs marketing materials and prepares files for print production. By hand and/or using computer software, prepares technical and non-technical visual presentations through designing art and copy layouts for publication.
Collaborates with project teams throughout the creative process to construct eye-catching and stand out designs.
Works in various disciplines of design, namely marketing, promotional space, collateral, print and digital materials.
Maintains a keen eye for typography and knowledge of current industry trends.
Manages assets and image library using Adobe Bridge. Regularly retouches and enhances photos using Photoshop. Prompts for signage.
Conducts concept research of new marketing campaigns.
Assists Creative Services team in guiding freelance designers on projects to ensure quality control and consistency of the ChenMed brands.
Presents work to marketing team, other departments, as well as Physicians as needed.
Manages multiple projects at a time while maintaining quality outputs.
Stay current on design trends and ideas.
Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.

Strong creative portfolio – Typography, Identity, Graphic Design, Web
Excellent organization, time management and meticulous output skills

Interest in social media, design trends, web based technologies, photography and video

Ability to create different visual styles
Ability to present concepts to internal teams

Proficient skill in Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; competent in other systems required for the position
Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and/or nationally up to 15% of the time; flexible to work evening, weekends and/or holidays as needed
Spoken and written fluency in English
This job requires use and exercise of independent judgment
Education And Experience Criteria
High school diploma and some college coursework required
BA/BS degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising or a closely related field preferred
A minimum of 3 years’ of agency and/or in-house creative work experience required
High proficiency with Adobe Suite (Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Bridge, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) and supplemental design software needed
Working knowledge of After Effects, Premiere, Audition and/or Media Encoder a plus
