Job Description
This role is ideal for a creative video editor passionate about sports and social media content. You will collaborate on short-form videos for TikTok and Reels, focusing on editing breakdowns, before/after transformations, and behind-the-scenes workflow footage. The content aims to showcase a professional yet cinematic style, with an emphasis on clean cuts, engaging hooks, and consistent captions. You will play a key part in refining and maintaining a cohesive visual identity across all videos, working closely from clear briefs and contributing to a long-term creative partnership.
Deliverables
Edit 2–4 short-form videos per week (30–60 seconds each) for TikTok and Reels
Apply modern editing techniques, including strong hooks, dynamic pacing, and engaging transitions
Add consistent captions, light color grading, and subtle sound design to enhance viewer engagement
Collaborate to refine and maintain a consistent visual style across all content
Deliver polished, professional videos that highlight workflow, photo edits, and behind-the-scenes sports content
Requirements
Proven experience editing short-form social media videos, ideally for TikTok or Instagram Reels
Strong understanding of current editing trends, pacing, and audience engagement strategies
Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve)
Ability to deliver clean, modern cuts with attention to detail in captions, color grading, and sound design
Excellent communication skills and openness to feedback for ongoing style refinement
Reliable availability for ongoing collaboration (2–4 videos per week)
Preferably located in a similar time zone for smoother communication
