About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-volume, complex marketing and e-commerce websites for our diverse client portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, with expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience implementing and customizing content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or other platforms. This role involves working closely with clients and internal teams to create responsive, user-friendly websites that meet business objectives and adhere to best practices in web standards, SEO, and usability. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of high-quality digital solutions that enhance our clients’ online presence and drive engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or relevant professional experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience developing HTML/CSS layouts with a focus on web standards and usability
At least 2 years of experience developing and implementing content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, Umbraco, Ektron, or Concrete5
Proficiency in JavaScript and jQuery for creating dynamic and interactive user interfaces
Experience with responsive design frameworks such as Bootstrap and other CSS frameworks
Strong knowledge of current web design principles, SEO best practices, and usability standards
Experience working with programming languages like ASP, ASP.NET, C#.NET, PHP, and VB.NET
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of client staff and management
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

Develop and implement high-volume, complex marketing and e-commerce websites that meet client specifications
Create and optimize user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery to ensure a seamless user experience
Implement, customize, and maintain content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, Umbraco, and others
Develop responsive website designs utilizing Bootstrap and other CSS frameworks to ensure compatibility across devices
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, provide technical solutions, and deliver projects on time
Ensure websites adhere to SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and usability guidelines
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of web development trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve development processes
Test and troubleshoot websites for performance, security, and cross-browser compatibility
Document development processes and provide ongoing support and maintenance as needed
