About The Role

We are currently seeking a Contract Video Editor to join our creative team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for producing and editing YouTube videos that align with our established style and branding. Your primary focus will be on executing the editing process by transforming raw footage, scripts, and reference materials into polished, engaging content. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical editing skills, an exceptional eye for detail, and the ability to replicate a specific style consistently. This position requires working closely with our internal team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality videos that resonate with our audience. As a remote-first company, we value proactive communication, responsiveness, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Proven experience editing YouTube videos with a portfolio demonstrating consistency and storytelling ability
Strong proficiency in professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
Ability to closely match an existing editing style and follow detailed creative instructions
Excellent attention to detail, including timing, audio levels, text accuracy, and visual consistency
Comfort working with shared assets, brand guidelines, and reference videos
Strong communication skills and responsiveness in a remote work environment
Interest in or familiarity with theme parks, travel, or YouTube content creation

Responsibilities

Edit long-form and short-form YouTube videos to replicate a specific Orlando Informer creator’s style
Match pacing, music integration, graphics, sound design, and storytelling approach based on provided examples
Assemble raw footage, screen recordings, voiceovers, music, and graphics into cohesive videos
Add text overlays, basic motion graphics, B-roll, sound effects, and visual enhancements as needed
Ensure videos adhere to YouTube platform best practices, optimizing for viewer engagement and retention
Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently, maintaining high-quality standards
Organize project files and exports according to internal standards for easy access and review
Meet project deadlines and production schedules consistently
Support other video-related tasks as assigned to contribute to ongoing content production
