Join a dynamic project-based opportunity as a freelance video editor, focusing on English-language YouTube videos and short-form clips. You will be responsible for editing long-form content and creating engaging short-form highlights, ensuring a clean, direct style that aligns with established content standards. This remote role requires strong editorial judgment, attention to pacing and viewer retention, and the ability to deliver high-quality edits under agreed deadlines. You will collaborate closely to meet project requirements and must be ready to start immediately.

Deliverables

Edit long-form YouTube videos to maintain clarity, pacing, and audience engagement.
Create short-form clips optimized for social media and YouTube Shorts.
Apply effective cuts, captions, and transitions to enhance viewer retention.
Ensure all edits are consistent with the existing content style and brand guidelines.
Communicate proactively regarding project timelines and deliverables.
Submit work according to individual assignment deadlines.

Requirements

Proven experience editing YouTube videos and short-form content, with a portfolio of relevant samples.
Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual clarity.
Ability to add captions, graphics, and effects as needed.
Excellent communication skills and reliability in meeting deadlines.
Availability to start immediately and work remotely.
Ability to accept feedback and iterate quickly on edits.
Familiarity with YouTube content trends and best practices is a plus.
