About the Opportunity:
The Data Entry Specialist – Night Shift plays a critical role in maintaining data quality and accuracy across healthcare operations. This position independently verifies and enters data according to established business rules and procedures while protecting the confidentiality of personal health information. The role contributes to operational efficiency, data integrity, and the reliable delivery of healthcare data solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Consistently achieve established quality and production standards.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
• Understand and apply business rules and procedures comprehensively.
• Perform data verification and entry activities in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of Personal Health Information (PHI).
• Identify and recommend improvements to data entry, collection, and retrieval processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Effective time-management skills and a dependable work ethic.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate computer systems effectively.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute and 4,500 KPH ten-key proficiency.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and memorize system shortcuts.
• Strong reliability and dependability.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Hourly pay rate of $12.00.
• Full-time positions available.
• Preferred schedule: Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. CST.
