About the Role

Talemexa is seeking a detail-oriented Web Developer to build, maintain, and improve websites and landing pages for the company and its clients. In this role, you will transform design concepts into responsive web pages, implement interactive features, manage website content, and ensure that websites perform well across devices and browsers.
The ideal candidate has 1–4 years of web development experience and a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You should be comfortable working with content management systems (CMS), applying basic SEO practices, troubleshooting website issues, and improving page speed and accessibility.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and update websites and landing pages for Talemexa and its clients.
Convert design mockups and wireframes into responsive, user-friendly web pages.
Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build functional, accessible, and visually consistent interfaces.
Implement interactive website elements and enhance the overall user experience.
Ensure websites display correctly across desktop computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
Maintain content management systems and assist with publishing, editing, and organizing website content.
Improve page loading speed, website performance, and usability.
Apply basic search engine optimization (SEO) practices, including appropriate heading structures, metadata, and image optimization.
Identify, troubleshoot, and fix website bugs, layout issues, and browser compatibility problems.
Conduct basic website testing to ensure functionality, responsiveness, and consistency.
Support routine website updates, content changes, and smaller development requests.
Follow web accessibility principles and development best practices.
Collaborate with designers, content teams, marketers, and other developers to deliver website improvements.
Maintain clean, organized, and reusable code while documenting changes when necessary.
Qualifications and Experience

1–4 years of professional experience in web development or a related role.
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Experience building responsive websites and landing pages.
Familiarity with at least one content management system, such as WordPress or a comparable platform.
Basic understanding of on-page SEO and search-friendly website structure.
Knowledge of website performance optimization and accessibility fundamentals.
Ability to troubleshoot layout, functionality, and browser compatibility issues.
Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual consistency.
Good problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple website updates and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
