Job Description
This role is ideal for a creative video editor passionate about music and social media content. You will be responsible for producing engaging Instagram Reels that support ongoing music releases and artist branding. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to collaborate directly with an artist to shape the visual identity of their music across digital platforms. The initial engagement will be a paid test reel to evaluate creative alignment, editing style, and workflow. If successful, there is potential for ongoing collaboration on future song releases and artist content.
Deliverables
Edit and produce high-quality Instagram Reels tailored to music releases and artist content
Review and align with existing creative direction and branding across Instagram, Spotify, and YouTube
Ensure all videos are optimized for social media engagement, pacing, and platform requirements
Collaborate with the artist to incorporate feedback and refine edits as needed
Deliver final assets in required formats and within agreed timelines
Requirements
Proven experience editing short-form video content for music, artists, or social media
Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work, especially Instagram Reels or similar formats
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
Creative eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual engagement
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setting
Familiarity with current trends in music and social media video content
Reliable internet connection and ability to meet deadlines
