About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Healthcare Data Entry Specialist to support provider credentialing and payer enrollment processes on a temporary, remote basis for a duration of six months. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop foundational skills in healthcare administration, with comprehensive training provided for candidates new to credentialing and enrollment procedures. The role involves high-volume data entry, updating provider information, and ensuring accuracy across systems such as Symplr Provider, CAQH, and Microsoft Teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing documentation, organizing files, and tracking outstanding information, all while maintaining strict confidentiality. The position requires sustained attention to detail, reliability, and effective communication with team members to resolve discrepancies and facilitate smooth credentialing workflows. As part of the Business Office Department, the role supports the financial integrity of the organization by ensuring accurate provider information, which is essential for seamless billing, reimbursement, and compliance processes.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Post-secondary coursework or education in healthcare administration, business, health information management, or a related field (preferred)
Previous experience in office administration, clerical work, customer service, data entry, or healthcare (preferred)
Proficiency with computers, electronic databases, Microsoft Office, or similar software
Ability to learn and adapt to new computer systems quickly
Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry
Reliable follow-through and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

Perform high-volume data entry of provider information into various healthcare systems
Update and review provider records to ensure accuracy and completeness
Organize and prepare documentation necessary for credentialing and payer enrollment
Track outstanding documentation and follow up to ensure timely submission
Communicate effectively with credentialing and enrollment team members regarding discrepancies or missing information
Assist in maintaining compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards
Support the team in meeting deadlines and quality standards through diligent work and attention to detail
Learn and adhere to established procedures, checklists, and workflows
Contribute to a collaborative team environment by providing support and sharing knowledge
