LaunchCode is recruiting for a Frontend Engineer to work at one of our partner companies!

Position Type: Full-Time W2, Hourly

Location: Fully Remote

Pay: $48-58/hr (DOE) + LaunchCode Benefits (Employee Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance at zero cost through LaunchCode)

Position Overview

The Frontend Engineer will work with UI/UX designers to refresh product UIs, maintain existing product UIs, and contribute to internal software libraries.

Responsibilities

Work with designers to develop user interfaces for products
Assist in extracting products from legacy UI into new product deployments
Add features to existing UIs to support products
Maintain existing UIs to support products

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Ability to write high quality, well-tested code that meets the needs of our customers
Desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with internal stakeholders, designers, and support personnel to take a product from inception to production
Previous experience with the company’s tech stack:
Docker/Kubernetes
PostgreSQL + PostGIS
JSON:API and RESTful APIs
AWS: Cloudfront, API Gateway, S3
Typescript, React
